MSP GLOBAL runs a free shuttle from Barcelona El Prat to the Convention Centre, Hotel PortAventura and Hotel Caribe, Monday 19 to Friday 23 October. You must book a ticket in advance. It leaves Terminal 2 and then Terminal 1 fifteen minutes later (hosts wait by the pharmacy in T1), and reaches the venue about 1h15 after T1. On 21 and 22 October it runs hourly from T2 between 08:00 and 18:00; return runs go back to the airport through to Friday morning.
The Plana bus runs from BCN (T1 lower platforms 7-11, T2 between 2B and 2C) to La Pineda, Salou, the PortAventura hotels and Cambrils: EUR 18.60 single, EUR 33.90 return. By train, take the R2 Nord from the airport to Barcelona Sants, then a direct R17 to Salou-PortAventura, about 1h30 (direct R17s leave Sants at 08:26, 10:26 and 12:26). PortAventura puts the resort about an hour from El Prat by road.
Reus is about 15 minutes from PortAventura by road. The Plana bus from Reus airport to La Pineda, Salou, the PortAventura hotels and Cambrils costs EUR 3.90.
AVE trains run from central Barcelona and Madrid to Camp de Tarragona. From there it is a taxi ride to the venue, or the Plana bus to the PortAventura hotels for EUR 7.40.
Take the AP-7 to exit 35. Attendee parking is free in the Convention Centre car park, in front of the entrance; parking at Hotel PortAventura and Hotel Caribe is free for hotel guests.
A free hotel shuttle loops Hotel Caribe, the Convention Centre and Hotel PortAventura every 15 minutes: Tuesday 13:00 to midnight, Wednesday 08:30 to 22:00, Thursday 08:30 to midnight. On Wednesday a party shuttle runs to and from the ConneXion Party from 19:15 to 02:00. Bring your badge. Collect your badge at the Registration Desk opposite the Convention Centre entrance, or at the counters in Hotel PortAventura and Hotel Caribe. Lunch is free for all attendees from 12:30 to 14:00, with a coffee break at 15:30. Wifi runs across the exhibition, the stages and every networking event.
October averages at Reus airport (AEMET, 1981-2010): highs of 22.3°C, lows of 12.7°C, about six days of rain in the month. The currency is the euro. Spain uses type C and F sockets at 230 V, so UK visitors need an adapter.
PortAventura Park's Halloween season runs 19 September to 15 November 2026, so the resort will be lively in the evenings. The ConneXion Party takes over part of the park on Wednesday night.
