The trip

Getting there and getting about

Checked 14 October 2026.

Airport to Bella Center

Bella Center is about 7 minutes from Copenhagen Airport by car; Pax8 puts the taxi at about 10 minutes and DKK 150-200. By rail, regional trains run from the airport to Ørestad station, then it's one stop on Metro M1 to Bella Center. Pax8 does not run airport transfers.

Getting around

Bella Center metro station (M1) is next to the venue, about 10 minutes from central Copenhagen. A City Pass Small covers bus, train and metro in zones 1-4, including the airport: DKK 100 for 24 hours, DKK 160 for 48, DKK 220 for 72, DKK 280 for 96. Buy it in the Rejsebillet app, at the airport or at metro ticket machines. You can't buy tickets on the train.

Money

The currency is the Danish krone (DKK). Cards are accepted almost everywhere, taxis included. Many places take euros, but at a poor exchange rate.

Plugs

Sockets are type K and type E, 230 V, 50 Hz. Two-pin Europlugs (type C) fit both. UK visitors need an adapter.

Weather

October in Copenhagen averages about 12°C by day and 7°C at night, with rain on around 9 days in the month (DMI 1991-2020 normals). Pax8 also says to bring a jumper or light jacket, as the conference rooms can get cold.

That week in Copenhagen

Halloween in Tivoli runs 2 October to 1 November. The airport warns of longer security queues during the autumn school holiday, so leave extra time if you fly out on Sunday 18 October.

When to arrive and leave

Pax8 suggests arriving by midday on Sunday 18 October for the welcome reception and leaving on the morning of Wednesday 21 October, after Tuesday's closing party.
