IT Nation Grow is ConnectWise's two-day, hands-on workshop on business transition, taking MSPs from personal vision and valuation through the data room, the deal, due diligence and life after the sale. It's built for MSP owners and their leaders, whether they're just curious or ready to act on either side of a deal.

The venue
Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center

- An all-suite hotel of 360 two-room suites over 20 floors, with 17 meeting rooms (11,010 sq ft) and the 3,683 sq ft Bayside Ballroom
- Joined to the Tampa Convention Center by a skybridge, and right on the Riverwalk
- Breakfast is made to order and free, and there's a free evening reception with drinks and light snacks
- TASTE Restaurant & Bar is open 11:30 to midnight; the Starbucks in the hotel opens 6:00 to 18:00; the lobby market and the gym are open 24 hours
- Heated outdoor pool overlooking the Riverwalk, open 7:00 to 23:00. Its pool deck hosts the Grow meet and greet
- Wi-Fi in the atrium, luggage storage, and valet parking (charged)
- Dick Greco Plaza streetcar stop is a 3-minute walk; the nearest supermarket is Publix on Channelside Drive, 8 minutes on foot

A 2.6-mile path along the Hillsborough River, past parks, museums and restaurants. It runs right in front of the Convention Center, so it's the obvious morning walk or run.

Airport to the venue
The Embassy Suites is 7 miles from Tampa International Airport (TPA). Uber puts the average ride from TPA to Hyatt House Tampa Downtown at 18 minutes and $31. HART Route 30 runs hourly between the airport and downtown: take SkyConnect from Red Baggage Claim to the Rental Car Center, and it stops along Kennedy Boulevard and at Marion Transit Center.
The TECO Line Streetcar
Tampa's heritage streetcar is free. It runs every 15 minutes, 7:00 to 23:00 Monday to Thursday, from Dick Greco Plaza (Franklin Street and Old Water Street, a 3-minute walk from the hotel) through the Channel District to Ybor City, about 25 minutes end to end.
The Riverwalk
The 2.6-mile Tampa Riverwalk follows the Hillsborough River through downtown and passes the front of the Convention Center, next door to the hotel. Most of the hotels on our map are a walk along it or a few blocks inland.
Money and plugs
The currency is the US dollar. Sockets are type A and B, 120 V, 60 Hz, so UK visitors need an adapter.
Weather
Tampa in December averages daytime highs of 22 to 24°C (72 to 75°F) and lows of 12 to 14°C (54 to 57°F), per WeatherSpark.
Tickets
The All-Access MSP Pass is $399, for MSP owners and employees. It covers the full Grow content, breaks, lunch and dinner during the programme, and networking time with peers, experts and advisors. Hotels are not included. Full refunds until 5 December 2026; after that you can send someone in your place.
When to arrive and leave
The meet and greet is on the hotel's pool deck from 17:00 to 19:00 on Tuesday 8 December. Day one starts at 8:00 on Wednesday 9 December, and the final afternoon block starts at 13:00 on Thursday 10 December. ConnectWise says detailed session timings are coming soon.
