Seventeen events in five weeks, two of them opening on Wednesday on opposite sides of the Atlantic, and nearly all of them asking for a day or two you had already promised to the business. That's the shape of the period from today to 19 November, and it is worth seeing whole before you commit to any one piece of it. Five of the 17 are in the United States, three in Canada and two in the UK, with the rest spread across Spain, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Australia, plus one that hasn't published a venue yet. If you run a team of any size there is probably one here for the owner, one for the security lead and one for the person who lives in your RMM console, and they are almost certainly in different cities.
The clustering matters more than the count. Monday 9 November and Tuesday 17 November each have three events opening on the same morning, so the question for most readers isn't whether to go but which room to put which person in. We've checked every date below against the organiser's own listing, and where we have a full guide we've linked it; where we haven't written one yet, the organiser's page is the honest starting point. (Nobody paid for a mention in this round-up, which is the normal state of affairs here.)
Seventeen events is too many for anyone to treat as a list of things to attend, so treat it as a list of things to decide.
This week: 21 and 22 October
The window opens with a clash, which is the autumn calendar being itself.
Two days in San Antonio from The ASCII Group, now part of GTIA, with the mix ASCII does well: peer networking first, sessions second and vendor access when you want it rather than when a sponsor wants it. It suits the owner who goes to events for the person three seats over at lunch, because that person at ASCII has usually run an MSP for longer than you have. Our guide is at /events/ascii-edge-san-antonio.
The same two days in Barcelona, with international MSPs, MSSPs, resellers and vendors in one hall, which makes it the one place in this period where you'll hear how a Spanish or Dutch provider prices the stack you sell. It suits anyone who already sells across borders or is quietly wondering whether to. The guide is at /events/msp-global.
Next week: 26 to 29 October
The second week moves north and west, and it pairs a regional channel show with a vendor conference.
Two days in North Vancouver for Canadian channel partners and the vendors who want to reach them, run by ChannelNEXT, who turn up again in Toronto in a fortnight. It suits a Western Canadian owner who would rather meet vendors on home ground than fly to Texas for the privilege. Guide at /events/channelnext-west.
NinjaOne's own event, three days in Austin from 27 to 29 October, and like every vendor conference it earns the trip in proportion to how much of your stack runs through that vendor. Send the technical lead who knows the console better than the account manager does, and send the owner only if the roadmap bears on a decision you're about to make. Guide at /events/mspnxt.
3 to 5 November
The first full week of November has four events in four countries inside three days, and three of them are single-day affairs you can do without a hotel.
One day in Mannheim on 3 November from The Channel Company's CRN Deutschland team, built for DACH partners and the IT vendors trying to sell through them. It suits a German-speaking MSP owner who wants the local vendor community in one room; we don't have a guide yet, so start at the organiser's page.
ConnectWise's three days in Orlando, 4 to 6 November, and the biggest single commitment in this period for anyone whose PSA and RMM carry the ConnectWise name. It suits the owner and the operations lead together, split up on arrival, with a diary of partner meetings already half full before anyone boards the plane, because the corridor at IT Nation is where the useful conversations happen and they don't wait for you. Details on the ConnectWise site.
A single day in Dublin on 4 November from Renaissance, for MSP owners and directors across Ireland and Northern Ireland. It suits anyone on the island who wants a local room and a short drive, and one day out of the business is the easiest ask on this list. The announcement page has the detail.
Angel Business Communications runs the Managed Services Summit series, and Stockholm on 5 November is its Nordic date, one day for MSP and MSSP executives in the region. It suits the Nordic owner who wants the senior end of the market rather than the exhibition floor. Start at the Nordics summit site.
9 to 12 November
This is the week where the calendar turns difficult, and where the team-splitting principle stops being advice and becomes logistics.
Three days in Scottsdale from 9 to 11 November for channel partners, vendors and distributors across the Americas, now carrying the Omdia name alongside Canalys. It leans toward analyst views and vendor strategy rather than hands-on sessions, so it suits the owner who wants to know where the channel's money is heading over the next year and suits the engineer rather less. The Omdia page has the programme.
GTIA's EMEA gathering, two days in London on 9 and 10 November, for members, MSPs and channel leaders across the region. It suits the UK or European owner who wants the association's peer network without the long-haul flight to the American version, and it's the one London date in the window. Our guide is at /events/channelcon-emea.
Two days in Anaheim, also 9 and 10 November, for MSPs and MSSPs building security practices from ChannelPro Network. It suits the security lead, briefed on the one gap in your current offer that you want closed before the new year. Details on the ChannelPro events page.
One day in Toronto on 10 November, again from ChannelNEXT, for Canadian MSPs, MSSPs and security vendors. It is the Canadian counterpart to DEFEND, a day later and a much shorter flight, and it suits the Ontario owner who wants security vendors in one room without the Anaheim hotel bill. The ChannelNEXT listing has the detail.
One day in Utrecht on 12 November from Angel Business Communications, for senior MSP delegates and capped at 30, which changes the arithmetic of the whole day. In a room that size you will speak to everyone, so the follow-up list writes itself and the usual excuse about not having met the right people disappears. It suits a Benelux owner who prefers a table to a hall; the roadshow page is where to apply.
17 to 19 November
The window closes with a second three-way clash and a quiet finish in Atlantic Canada.
Three days in Sydney from 17 to 19 November for Kaseya and Datto MSP customers in APAC, and the same rule applies as for MSPNXT: the value scales with how much of your business runs on that vendor. It suits the APAC owner with Datto or Kaseya at the centre of the stack and a question about where it goes next. The Kaseya Connect APAC site has the agenda.
Two days on 17 and 18 November from CyberRisk Alliance for MSSPs and MSPs running managed security, and the one event in this round-up without a venue on our listing yet. It suits the security-led provider who wants a room of peers rather than a vendor's customers; check the organiser's site before you book travel.
The Managed Services Summit's Manchester day on 17 November, for UK MSP owners and senior channel leaders, run by Angel Business Communications. It suits the owner north of Birmingham who can do it by train and be home for dinner, and it is the last UK date in this window. Details at the Manchester summit site.
The final date in the five weeks, one day in Halifax on 19 November from The CanIT Collective for Canadian MSP leaders. It suits the Atlantic Canadian owner for whom most of this calendar is a long flight away, because this is the rare one that comes to you. The CanIT Collective site has the detail.
What to do with this before Friday
Seventeen events is too many for anyone to treat as a list of things to attend, so treat it as a list of things to decide. Pick the one or two where someone on your team will learn something you can't buy, then work out who that person is, which sessions they own and whose names go on the list of people to meet before they leave. The follow-up once they're home is where the money is, and it is much easier when the plan existed before the trip.
The full calendar, with every date checked against the organiser and updated when one moves, is at /#events. If an event you're going to isn't on it, tell us and we'll check that one too.
Every MSP event in one calendar, with dates checked against the organisers and a guide for the big ones.
